A long-standing worldwide provider of vision systems and Industrial manufacturing software and hardware, including sensors and scanning solutions.
The client offers a solution with a barcode scanner that helps companies streamline defect detection in the manufacturing process. Factory employees use scanners with iPhones installed into them to mark defects on items across many production lines. The preceding iOS solutions failed to deliver the required level of quality and comfort of use, impairing the efficiency of the client’s offering.
Consero
Consero hosts networking events designed for senior executives and thought leaders with an emphasis on knowledge-sharing and collaborative learning.
Consero needed an app that was multi-faceted and user friendly. The company wanted to provide users with a tool that could both enhance attendees’ experiences and simplify organizers’ duties. Desired features included peer-to-peer collaboration, personalized schedules, and customizable profile pages. The app drives Consero’s mission even further, allowing organizers and attendees to communicate, learn, and collaborate on-the-go. Attendees experience conference to the fullest through valuable connections, meaningful idea exchanges, and industry essential knowledge.
SmartCart
A unique tablet application based on the Navigine SDK that drives sales at supermarkets and improves the grocery shopping experience for customers.
The SmartCart application allowed supermarkets to increase sales, providing them with the opportunity to influence shoppers at the point of making a buying decision. Brands and suppliers were given the opportunity to increase brand awareness via in-app ads. Meanwhile, shoppers were able to benefit from the Navigine integration which improved their shopping experience and shortened their weekly shopping time without detriment to the supermarket’s revenue.
Kneepad
The OneWorks team built a completely custom prototype for the client that would allow them to test their hardware on beta users before deciding whether or not to put it into production. The prototype used Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to sustain high battery performance and custom-built firmware harmonized with the mobile applications.
Company research had previously shown that prolonged periods of time spent kneeling caused serious health issues. With an interactive web-based dashboard that tracks kneeling pressure and time, along with an iOS app complete with health alerts, gas maintenance workers can now make more informed decisions about their knee health while maintaining water heaters.
Guest Services
Guest Services needed a web-based program for its many chefs to manage the creation of recipes, nutrition labels, and menus on a standard platform. The solution needed to be universal to all the restaurants and locations that Guest Services manages.
OneWorks’s solution enabled Guest Services to streamline their recipe and menu creation process across the company. The new software has greatly increased company chefs’ ability to quickly and efficiently create new recipes and menus. The ability to retrieve and scale company recipes and create weekly menus has enabled the chefs meet strict client deadlines while ensuring quality results.
Car Seat Clip
Keeping our kids safe is a constant challenge. Not only are they continuously coming up with new ways to get into trouble, but caregivers are finding themselves increasingly busy. We was tasked with developing a software solution that would rise above all the noise to notify parents of their children’s safety and provide this data in a quick, easy-to-understand way.
OneWorks created a high-quality software development kit along with apps for iOS and Android built specifically for our client’s hardware. The completed product will use a smart device that can provide caregivers with relevant safety data on their mobile device paired via Bluetooth. Through warning notifications, this app lets caregivers know when their child is safe, when the ambient temperature is becoming unsafe for the child, and when they have traveled an unsafe distance from the device.
